No. The home inspector will gather information for you and let you know about certain problem areas or defects of the home, but homes don't "pass" or "fail" a home inspection. The client should consult with the home inspector (ask as many questions as you need in order to feel like you have a good understanding of the condition of the home and feel comfortable about the information your inspector is giving you) and then decide how, or if, any of the problems pointed out by your home inspector will be addressed.
