Read what some of our customers have said about our reports:

"This was by far the most complete and well organized inspection report I have ever been given.  This is my 12th home, so I've seen a few."
      - Ed
"Thank you very much for doing the inspection today.  I appreciate the format in which the inspection is presented as it is very easy to read and understand."
       -Jill

The home inspection report is what you are paying for.  It is your permanent copy of the home inspection and of the inspector's findings.  It should be organized in a way that is easy to read and easy to understand so that it can be referred back to from time to time as needed.  Problem areas pointed out by the inspector should be clearly described and include recommendations so that you know what course of action to take to get the problem solved.

With the state of technology today no inspector should be giving reports to their customers that are handwritten and without photographs.  Surprisingly, there are still many reports like this still out there.

Make sure you are getting what you are paying for.

When you hire Martin Home Inspections you know that you are getting a report that is professionally prepared for you, is easy to understand, is well organized, has digital photographs, comes with recommendations on how to solve problems areas pointed out, has maintenance and safety tips, comes with our on-going professional support, and is delivered to you the same day as the inspection.
Our Reports vs Theirs

Detailed Explanations
• Our Reports contain detailed explanations of problem areas along with useful maintenance and safety tips.
• Their Reports often contain only a checklist of items inspected and ranks each item "Acceptable", "Marginal", or "Defective" without giving much, or any other information

Digital Color Photographs
• Our Reports contain digital color photographs which help to enhance the explanation and helps to identify the exact location of the problem area later on.
• Their Reports often contain no photographs and little information about the exact location of certain problem areas.   This may make locating these problem areas later on difficult.  For instance, if the inspector found a faulty electrical outlet in a room with seven other outlets, a photograph of the outlet helps to pinpoint exactly which outlet it is.  Photographs of problem areas on a roof help you to see for yourself something you would not be able to see unless you crawled up on the roof.  Same thing for attic spaces, crawlspaces, etc.

Same Day Delivery
• Our Reports are delivered to you the same day as the home inspection.  Radon reports are an exception to this.  A radon test takes a minimun of 48 hrs.  We deliver radon reports the same day the radon test is concluded.
• Their Reports are often delivered the next day or within 48hrs.  This could put you in a hurried situation when you only have a certain number of days to get your inspection finished.

Professionally Typed & Prepared
• Our Reports are professionally prepared using stat-of-the-art inspection reporting software.  No messy handwriting for you to decipher when you read a report from Martin Home Inspections.
• Their Reports are often handwritten and difficult to read.  If you can't read it, what good does it do you?
